If you look at my kitchen from this particular angle and ignore what’s reflected in the mirror and squint really hard, this little part of the house looks pretty darn good!Never expected that would happen without the use of a sledgehammer..
So it wasn’t exactly what I envisioned, but my little house scarf still helps to Fallify this little corner and looks pretty snazzy while doing so.. And it distracts nicely from the plastic floors and 1974 range too!I’m starting to work on some of my Fall decorating to get ready for all the fun Fall parties coming up.Not like I was in August, messing around with Halloween crafts and stuff, but the real, serious, nitty gritty type of Fall decorating.Yes, this is serious business!.
Well, I was starting to lay out my plans for our Fall mudroom, and I didn’t quite know what I was going to do.I made this one little move and everything started to take shape.
I’m so in love with it, in fact, that I thought I’d share this little tip with you..
I thought adding in this string of lights, with all the black plasticy parts so visible like this might just be a disaster, but this simple move of tying these little ribbons flags around it changed the whole vibe.to cover the length that you’ll be making your garland.
For this little one I made to go across my fantel (fake mantel!), I used 16 eggs.. Once you’ve got your eggs all set, you’ll probably need to make the holes on each end a little bigger, just for ease of stringing.
You can easily do this using a push pin.. (Thank you to my daughter for letting me photograph her dirty fingernails while she helped me!).Next, grab some twine or ribbon and start stringing!
